We were more than happy with our recent holiday experience at Malibu Luxury. The accommodation was as beautifully appointed as it appears in the web site photos. To top it off Maureen was wonderful to deal with. As an example, when we informed her the espresso machine was not working – she arrived with a brand new one within hours – on a Sunday !

We were 2 families with 4 adults and 4 young children (between 6 months and 6 years). The solar heated pool meant the children were able to enjoy swimming despite the Autumn temperatures and periodic overcast weather which ruled out swimming at the nearby surf beach. Swings, shops and beach in easy walking distqnce with young kids. We also enjoyed playing the board games that were available.

The kitchen is well fitted out and a joy for those who wish to cook or else there are take away and restaurant options nearby. My only consideration for those with very young children is that the potential consequences of a slip on the gorgeous tiled floors required a little extra supervision on our part.

Family Friendly Holiday

  We recently had the pleasure of staying at Malibu Luxury Beach House. Friends of ours from Glasgow were visiting and we wanted to show them a great time. The house accommodated 4 adults and 4 young children brilliantly. The rooms were spacious, and the children loved the trundle beds. Maureen was very helpful in accommodating a few of our extra needs- eg baby gate, portacot, and highchair were provided at our request. The solar heated pool was brilliant – particularly on the few rainy days we had- the kids were still keen for the pool, so the added heating made it possible to swim in comfort! The kitchen was well appointed, with the butlers's pantry another thoughtful touch. Cheryl the lovely cleaning lady did a mid week clean for us at short notice and was super efficient . Coolum itself was fabulous, beach was amazing and the town was well serviced with a decent Coles, as well as a number of good cafes and restaurants. We all loved it and will be back in the future.

    My Wife and I absolutely loved the luxury of the Malibu Holiday House. You absolutely thought of everything and to our surprise and satisfaction, the only thing we had to bring was the dog. Thank you Maureen for Providing the Luxury in a Holiday House we were looking for and thinking to include all the household appliances we could have needed. The pool was great, Loved the BBQ and deck and thoroughly enjoyed the Spa. A great place to unwind.

Thanks for a great holiday experience with our two Border Collie dogs, Jas (smaller one) and Buddy, the accommodation was first class and being so close to shops and beach was perfect, let alone the quiet surroundings.

We would recommend this type of stay, especially at such a great location and presented so well.

We will certainly be back.
