While visiting our holiday house we suggest you make a trip to Marcoola. Our pet and dog friendly resort style holiday house accommodation is located 5 kilometers to the north and Marcoola is easilly accessible by car or bike.

Marcoola Beach is a fantastic long and wide white sandy beach that stretches from the northern Maroochydore river entrance through to Point Arkwright. The beaches are generally quiet and suited to serious surfers, hikers, fishermen. The beachfront boasts an open grassy parkland with barbeques, children's playground and shady trees.

The Sunshine coast airport is only 5 minutes drive to the south. Marcoola beach adjoins Mudjimba and both beaches are patrolled. Adjoining suburbs include Pacific Paradise, Town of Seaside and Twin Waters.

Marcoola Surf Club is situated on beautiful Marcoola Beach. The Club hosted the Qld state titles in 1990 and 1988 and has been patrolling Marcoola Beach since 1969. Marcoola Beach surf club is open at 10am daily. Lunch and Dinner is served daily from 12 noon to 2pm …

The beaches and sand dunes are pristine and attract Hawksbill Turtle annually as they come to lay and naturally hatch. Marcoola Beach is also a prime position to watch the Humpback Whales migration every winter. You can be almost guaranteed to see the whales daily. Black Cockatoos migrate through annually feeding on the local Banksias and most importantly the off-leash free beach north of the town of seaside offers a great opportunity for dog lovers to let them roam freely.
